I found a really cool picture of a falling cat on my physics textbook ($50!) while studying hahaha, textbooks are REALLY important for studying man. notes are not enough. i'm understanding more in a few hours of reading than attending a week's worth of lectures.
Been a really busy week. physics lab was terrible, i've never used so much eye power (real eye power, not in a sarcastic way) in my life. looking at how many degrees it is from one end of a building to the other and THEN staring at a lightbulb casting an image on a screen with lenses is as good as stabbing ten chopsticks into your eyes, and THEN shooting your brains out.
though i think i've achieved more this week than ever. finished writing TWO more songs with gerald, finished recording our bcamjam song, attended all of my freshie suppers, attended all the meetings but skipped a lecture and 2 tutorials. but well like i said, i'm understanding more in a few hours of reading than attending a week's worth of lectures. word for word my friend.
oh yea and then there was that kickass math mid-term. kick-ass.
now all i've left to do is submit the songs and start doing my tutorials. physics for the win.

hohoho. to think i was just blogging about dreams recently. i just had the WEIRDEST dream ever. i dreamt that i turned into a female. bloody hell right. i had long hair and i wore a green hairband HAHAH. but that was as much as i could remember. cause i only remember looking into the mirror and going "WHAT IN THE WORLD". i would rather wear a yellow hairband, honestly.
feels so good to have a keyboard that doesn't screw up on you. managed to head down to sim lim today to replace my faulty laptop keyboard (FOR NINETY BUCKS WHATTHEFOREST) and get a new amplifier for my mom. took one HOUR to plug in everything properly just now. i feel like i'm being rather angsty in this paragraph when i'm actually now haha. got my own system in my room now i can work with, PLUS i got a wireless adapter for my home CPU so now i have a home CPU connectable to the internet connected to the wide screen in the living room. i'm quite sure soon i can DOTA with power. woohoo!
okay i've actually got quite a number of pics from my phone that i want to post other than the one at the top but i think i need to cut my livejournal entries in order not to irritate people without scrollers on their mouses. anyway the picture above was before rag, the choreographers gave us really cool cups with messages on them, arranged like this on the floor. awesome stuff. okay lets see how i can cut this mmmm....

Okay that's about it, time to finish up my lab report and do a little bit of studying before the mid terms. smellya.

ITS RECESS WEEK THURSDAY! darn it. so fast. but thankfully i've achieved quite a bit during this week, so im not really regretting much. even had time to blog twice. haha. that's already a good thing. i'm slowly getting the hang of prioritizing things even thou its already the sixth week of school already. soon i think i'll go haywire because practices are going to start and i won't be able to freely plan my time so well again.
i'm typing on my new keyboard! and i look like an idiot, because there is ALREADY a keyboard on my lappy, but the thing is it went haywire. the "up" button constantly activates without reason, and my aprostaphie (?) button decided to go MIA. my shift activates only on certain pressures, and worse of all, sometimes, pressing some keys activate other keys that you don't want to activate. terrible. trying to get used to this new keyboard thou. the keys are a little hard to get used to considering the backspace key is as small as one of the normal keys itself.
okay time to post some personal pictures i know i don't really do alot of that but they should make this blog a lot less bleaker.
yup this is my room in hall. it doesn't look as cool with all the weird stuff you see but i personally think it looks really sweet at night. no picture thou.
this is su before he teleports to meet zordon at base becase alpha was calling. so lucky to be a power ranger. i want to save the world too. but i think i look bad in tights.
actually, that's basically the only two photos i managed to grab on the camera i just ressurected. my spelling is getting terrible hahaha. time to start reading the dictionary.
time for E BLOCK SUSHI BUFFET! MMMMMM.

i'm telling myself i should start blogging haha. i've actually got lots of things going on in my mind now that if i don't write it down i'd let go to the memory graveyard. and you know what happens when memories go there. they end up being forgotten forever. if lets say bill gates were to let his microsoft idea go down memory graveyard, i might not be typing this blog entry now and he won't be swimming in a pile of money every weekend. i think the point's quite clear already.
anyway, i dreamt of weirdest things recently. like, warped tv show kinda weird. twilight zone. i dreamt that i had a water bottle that i could use as goggles to see underwater. and while exploring the waters, i met someone who lost her goggles inside the pond, so i went searching for it, but eventually, in the end, i realised i could fold the pond over and over again till everything inside could be searched with just one sweep, and i found like, plenty of weird pond items. its all really sketchy, but that's about what happened. i also dreamt that there was this really cute cat in the neighbourhood that really liked me. maybe i shall get a cat in the future.
all this wasn't as weird as the time i dreamt that everyone in the world got this mysterious phone call at once, and the guys who picked up the call all died and the girls who picked up the call had super powers. and the people who didn't pick up the call had to deal with everything that had happened.
i know i get weird dreams, and i don't really know where they come from haha.
anyway, things have been pretty hectic recently. but i still managed to watch this really motherfishbowling good show called gamer.
huge poster. shucks. what the hell is wrong with livejournal hahaha. its one hell of a good movie. cannot stop myself.
anyway just to follow up on the previous post so long ago when i had short hair. here's our rag video this year. it was just before school started, and we're already mid way through semester 1 and i'm finally posting this up haha.
okay its not showing up on my screen but i think when i post it up it will. oh just so you know i'm a pixie in green. when the pixies finally appear, i'm the hungry one who tries to take a bite off one of the brownies (yum) but gets my teeth stuck so the other pixies around me had to pull me out of it. i know its a mouthful to catch, but basically i'm at the top right area where the fruit basket is, if you can follow me through the whole dance, super duper kudos to you, because i move like spiderman on crack =D
hmm. and about school. i've been learning pretty cool stuff. i mean, cool as in, i didn't know there was such coolness in nerdness that sort of cool. i'm a little in doubt with alot of stuff though need to revise alot of things during this recess week. thankfully i think my workload isn't that bad. i just wrote a song recently for this breast cancer awareness songwriting competition. i guess if i have the time i'll post it up somewhere.
okay so far, just to sort my brain matter out, here are the things i have on my commitment list:

HELLO ALL rag day is tomorrow and if you're in nus you'd probably know what it is and how big an event it is for the whole uni! just to mention i think the kent ridge float is really amazing, and win or not tomorrow, i'd be really proud of whatever the raggers managed to achieve. anyway i can't reveal much but i'll be dancing for the float so when the video gets uploaded on youtube soon i'll put it up. in the meantime i just watched last year's rag again and i still think it was really good, thou from far its not possible to tell how detailed the float was which i bet was cause this year's detail on the float is amazing.

after rag school's starting! and i've got a gig with the freshies in kr called pebbles haha. plus gotta prepare for pageant too, still haven't managed to do a writeup about myself. gonna sleep early, body painting tomorrow at 2am gosh. |
